After graduating from Law School, Mr. Covey joined a large firm in the San Diego area representing financial institutions in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the state of California. Mr. Covey's extensive experience representing creditors in bankruptcy matters gives him a unique perspective when representing individuals that file for bankruptcy protection. Mr. Covey also spent time as an associate in a general practice representing small businesses in matters ranging from contract and landlord-tenant disputes to the formation of various business entities. Prior to Law School, Mr. Covey obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics from Oregon State University. Mr. Covey formed Covey Law, P.C. with the desire to assist individuals and small businesses facing financial difficulties. Mr. Covey is licensed to practice law in the states of California and Oregon and is admitted to all district courts in the two states. |
