of Law where he was named to the Dean's list and obtained the
highest grades in his contracts and corporate tax courses.  For his
academic achievement in Law School, Mr. Covey was awarded the
American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence Award along
with the Miller, Monson, Peshel, Polacek & Boshaw Scholarship
Award in Taxation. During Law School, Mr. Covey interned with a
well established San Diego Law firm and participated in the

School, Mr. Covey joined a large firm in the San Diego area representing financial institutions in
bankruptcy proceedings throughout the state of California.  Mr. Covey's extensive experience
representing creditors in bankruptcy matters gives him a unique perspective when representing
individuals that file for bankruptcy protection.  Mr. Covey also spent time as an associate in a
general practice representing small businesses in matters ranging from contract and
landlord-tenant disputes to the formation of various business entities. Prior to Law School, Mr.
Covey obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a minor in
Economics from Oregon State University. Mr. Covey formed Covey Law, P.C. with the desire to
assist  individuals and small businesses facing financial difficulties.  Mr. Covey is licensed to practice
law in the states of California and Oregon and is admitted to all district courts in the two states.
