Bankruptcy Overview

In Summary, Bankruptcy is a process in which a person who cannot pay his or her
bills can get a fresh financial start. It is this "Fresh Start" that is the principle
behind the bankruptcy code.  The Supreme Court has described the "Fresh Start" as
a "new opportunity in life, unhampered by the pressure and discouragement of
pre-existing debt."

Bankruptcy is a relatively straightforward process which can help you become debt
free in as little as 90 days. Bankruptcy stops all collection activities gives you a
chance to get your financial situation in order without having to deal with
harassment from creditors. Bankruptcy cases in San Diego County are filed in the
U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Suthern District of California.
